Expansion of processing capacities of ilmenite ores for the production of titanium raw materials and metallic titanium (on the basis of a single property complex of the United Mining and Chemical Company (UMC)

The project concerns the mining industry of Ukraine and, in case of full implementation – involves the creation of high-tech titanium production – of a product of a strategic nature for modern high-tech industries (automotive, aviation, military, medical   industry, etc.). The location is Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region. Financial structure of the project – CAPEX 100% All other stages of the project – 100% financing by the investor-owner of a special permit. The project is designed for a period of 15+   years of intensive development. It is planned to create 500+ jobs; The project involves two stages – 1st – modernization of existing capacities; 2nd - increase of raw material production; 3rd – creation of new capacities for the production of final products from titanium for the aerospace and automotive industries, medicine.
