Ensuring barrier-free access to institutions providing social services

The goal of the project is to transform the premises of social service providers into institutions that will be safe, accessible and inclusive for all categories of the population, without exception, by equipping them with the necessary technical equipment and arranging shelters. Today, there are about 1,500 communal institutions of social service providers operating in Ukraine, which are located in communities and provide social services to residents of relevant administrative-territorial units and internally displaced persons who have moved from communities where active hostilities are taking place, which are temporarily occupied or under shelling At the same time, the main problem is that the majority of such facilities are not inclusive and are not accessible to people with reduced mobility. The approximate number of such institutions is about 80% of the total number (about 1,200 premises).
