Overhaul of bridges/highways in the Kyiv region (UKEF)

During the full-scale invasion in 2022, bridges/highways in the Kyiv region were destroyed, disrupting transport logistics and connections between cities and villages. Restoration of transport logistics will allow to restore logistics and transport connections, will improve the economic situation. As part of cooperation with UKEF received a loan from Citibank in the amount of EUR 30,794,329.74 in order to co-finance the reconstruction of bridges in accordance with the specified list of 6 bridges in the Kyiv region. The memorandum on infrastructure reconstruction of Ukraine was concluded in the summer of 2022 between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and UKEF. Within the framework of the memorandum, the Kyiv Reconstruction Service will implement a pilot project to rebuild 6 bridges in the Kyiv region with the involvement of export financing from UK Export Finance.
